Week One- Expectations

• Your job in the classroom is to observe classroom routine and get involved.  Talk to the students, ask them questions and observe how first and second graders interact with each other and with their teachers.
• Journal Week One due by Friday. 
• Respond to the blog questions.
• Email me your response to the questions.
• Respond to two other people's posts on the blog.
• Contextual Factors due by Friday.  You may go to the Level 2 website at: http://www.pls.uni.edu/tws/Welcome.html to find more information about contextual factors.
• You might want to look at the Iowa Core Curriculum and start thinking about what first and  second graders know already and what they should be learning. http://www.corecurriculum.iowa.gov/
